Abstract

The purpose of this study was to evaluate and analyze the relationship of the factors that influence EPI implementation/ performance in District Okara, Punjab. In this regard, this study has selected three factors i.e. Human Resource (HR), Infrastructure and Administration factors for evaluating their impact towards EPI implementation in health department, Okara, Punjab. These variables have also found significant in the view of latest researches. Present study has adopted quantitative techniques for evaluating the impact of influencing variables toward EPI implementation and performance in Okara. In this regard, this study has selected survey to collect the data from employees of the Health Department. This survey has employed questionnaire for data collection form targeted individuals. Both male and female are involved in research survey. After distributing and collecting back 271 questionnaires, responses of all respondents have been entered in SPSS software and analyzed statistically. In SPSS statistical tests have employed for evaluating the direct effect of selected factors towards EPI implementation. Results in statistical tests showed that there is significant association between Human Resource, Infrastructure and Administration factors with EPI Implementation. HR factors, Infrastructure and administrative factors have found significantly associated with EPI implementation in District Okara. This research has offered the important recommendations and future research directions.
