Abstract

Qatar's sincerity and neutrality give it a unique position in the Afghan struggle stated by Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman, the country's prime minister and minister of foreign affairs. State Minister Al Khater went on to explain the remarks, stating that because Qatar has good relationships with all parties concerned, it has the freedom to communicate with all of them and the elasticity that other peacekeepers do not have as shown by Qatar. The consultant at UNDP who serving as a mediator in complicated situations like Afghanistan comes at a high cost, but the advantages are enormous for a country like Qatar, the mediation role might give the essential geostrategic depth. Since the Taliban took control of Afghanistan, Qatar has surely attained an international reputation as a mediator in the Afghan peace process.
