Abstract

The aim of this research was to investigate the influence of Organizational Justice on Organizational Citizenship Behavior amid Private sector and public sector Universities Faculty in Karachi, Sindh. The sample size consists of 300 faculty members, in which 156 respondents were from private sector universities and 144 respondents were from public sector universities. To measure organizational Justice Scale (Colquitt’s (2001) was used and Organizational Citizenship Behavior was assessed by using the Podsakoff et al.’s (1990) five factor model of OCB. The data was analyzed by using Linear Regression model. The findings of the study suggest that Organizational Justice influence on organizational citizenship behavior amid private and public universities faculty. The findings of the study will be helpful for universities, policy makers, psychologist, scholars and researchers in making better strategies to develop for faculty in creating citizenship behavior by providing fair and equitable working environment.
