It provides lessons and exercises aligned with the Sindh curriculum, making it a reliable source for evaluating English language content at the secondary level. In this paper the instrument used for data collection is modification of Cunnings worth’s (1995) formulated by Al-swat (2012).In this study nine checklists for textbook evaluation. Nine evaluation scales were used: layout, content, objectives, language type, skills, activities, structure and vocabulary, cultural values, and teachers’ needs, communicative activities and teacher support materials. The findings indicate that the textbook is generally appropriate for learners but some need to improve in the text book.
